Incidentally, the other article I read in February’s Harpers in China was “On the rights of Molotov Man: Appropriation and the Art of Context” by Joy Garnett and Susan Meiselas. While Harpers hilarioiusly did not put this one online (if you read the article you’ll possibly understand why I think this is kind of funny), I did find this link to a pdf file of the article provided by a teacher for her students.
